Q- HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY CLAIM ?

A- Many factors are taken into account when processing your claim. The complexity of each claim varies; no one claim is the same. However, the easiest way to ensure that the process runs as smoothly as possible is to have all necessary documents made promptly available to Wala’a Insurance. Q- WHAT IF I AM PARTIALLY AT FAULT FOR THE ACCIDENT ?

A- Even if you are partially at fault for the accident, you can still recover compensation from the other driver’s insurer. The amount of the compensation will be reduced by what is called “contributory negligence”.

Q- WHAT IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY MY CLAIM IS PROGRESSING ?

A- If you are not happy with the way your claim is progressing or if you have disagreement with a decision the claims staff have made, we have a simple and transparent Dispute Resolution Process. Talk to the Claims Manager first, who will immediately review your claim. If the concerned is unable to resolve the matter to your satisfaction, the matter will be referred to Walaa Technical Committee who will conduct a review of your dispute.

“Drive Safe” Tips

  • Prior to moving your vehicle, always inspect that the mirrors are properly adjusted to your liking. Be aware of the “blind spot” on the mirror.
  • Ensure all passengers’ seat belts are fastened (even those in the back seats).
  • If babies or children are among the passengers, be sure they are securely fastened to their designated car chairs.
  • Do not, under any circumstances, use your mobile phone while driving. Many car accidents are caused by drivers using their phones. If you must use your phone, pull over on the side of the road.
  • Always maintain a safe distance between you and the car in front of you.
  • Regardless of your driving experience, it is impossible to predict what other cars on the road will do. Defensive driving is the best method on the road
  • Inspect tire pressure regularly
  • Make sure you always drive with a spare tire.
  • In the event that you must use the spare tire, be sure to replace or repair the damaged tire immediately.
  • Make sure you have a number for a roadside service company (towing company) as a precautionary measure.
  • Always obey all traffic signals.
