Wala’a: The Leading Shariah Compliant Investor
The 2009 MENA Investors Summit was held in the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh on the 1st and 2nd of November 2009, with the aim to recognize excellence in investments and leadership. The MENA Investor Awards Committee announced that Saudi United Cooperative Insurance Company (Wala’a) has won the award for the Leading Shariah Compliant Investor as part of the MENA Investor Awards 2009. With over 300 of the most sophisticated investors in the Middle East and North Africa Region in attendance, the event was categorized as a great success.
